VARIATIONS OF MEDTROKARTE
Medtrokarte consists of 4 test strips that can be separated and reconnected easily. Thus, any required size of test card can be produced.
EXAMPLE 1:

The patient was given two blood units. The unused strip may be removed from the card and later used for another transfusion. Thus, no money is wasted!
EXAMPLE 2:

Many strips are connected together for multiple transfusions. In this case the patient will be given seven blood units.
EXAMPLE 3:

Two samples were tested. The two unused test strips can be removed and used later for another transfusion.
